Please put back the summary bot profit#87

W

The just-introduced interface no longer has the summary bot profit and I believe it needs to be added back.

The summary bot profit is the primary data point I use to quickly track “locked in” progress of my portfolio. It is like measuring my portfolio income which I want to know every day (and usually multiple times per day).

Summary total PNL is of course important but bcoz this value is always fluctuating it is not a metric that gives me a good insight on my intraday and daily progress. This metric is like measuring my capital gain/loss which is something I want to know over weeks, months or years.

We really need to know both of these numbers, not just one.

All that being said, with the just-introduced new interface I will have to add all the individual bot profits together every time I want to check the progress of my bots’ income and that will be a major frustration.

Please bring back the Sum, Bot total! It is the only metric I care about seeing and I look at it multiple times a day. The p&l idoesn’t tell me if they brought in profit in the last day. Now I have to go into each of my 14 bots and add everytiing manually.

The p & l number is useless to me. It’s not like it is monitoring my true cost basis. Because the “value” of the bot constantly is moving up and down.

EXAMPLE 1
The tax man cares about the profits we are making. My property taxes on my home do not go up and down daily like your daily p&l. But if made an extra 10k tonight at the casino, I know I need to set aside 3k or so for taxes. The p&l tells me nothing.

EXAMPLE 2
If that still doesn’t convince the programmers to add the sum not total back, consider this…..think of my 14 boys are like 14 Uber drivers going around town making fares 24/7. As the owner of the fleet, I want to know how much money they bring in everyday. I’m not wondering where I stand on my overall investment (including driving the car off the lot last week. Or driving one for ten years. I care that they are generating daily cash flow. I need to know the daily cash flow to see how my business is really doing. I’m not sitting here wondering if the value of my car has gone up or down based on the market. Did it bring in cash today is what I care about most.

Please bring it back ASAP!
